1. In order to be successful in this course thus far and to keep up with the requirements, I most definitely had to maintain good time management and staying organized. Because there are multiple assignments due each week and on top of two lectures, it is important to not procrastinate work. The work in this class is time consuming and although it isn't necessarily vigorous or super difficult, the assignments are though provoking and are not supposed to be rushed. I have to plan each week in regards to setting time aside to watch the lectures and complete all of the assignments that meet the criteria.

2. I have most definitely felt like giving up when watching the lectures. Because they all range around an hour and thirty minutes each, it is sometimes difficult to stay focused the whole time and focus on the lesson. Professor Pryor has quizzes every Monday called "Cupcakes", that ensure you are watching the lectures closely and paying attention to the lesson. This definitely motivates me to not give up and to complete them. Knowing that watching the lectures will directly affect my grade is one thing that pulled me through. I believe I have developed a tenacious attitude from this course over the past two months. I enjoy this class because the assignments require you to think about your answers after considering the lessons of the lectures. The length of completing the assignments and the lectures most definitely contributed to this.

- One tip I would highly suggest considering is fostering the skills of time management and putting 100% in everything you do. In order to get the most out of this class as possible, it is important to stay focused and set enough time aside throughout the week to correctly complete the lectures and assignments. Staying on top of it and getting the work done even when you don't want to is a characteristic of a tenacious mindset every entrepreneur must have in order to be successful.

- Another tip I would give is to not become complacent in this course when it comes to doing the lectures and assignments. Being lazy in the course will not get you anywhere or benefit you whatsoever so be sure to embrace the tenacious mindset and disregard any challenges of complacency throughout the process of this class.

- The last tip I would give is to ask questions if you are confused in regards to the lessons taught in the lectures or the requirements for an assignment. One thing successful entrepreneurs are good at is asking questions and the ability to figure out a way to find an answer. Professor Pryor and Riley Kiefer are both really good at answering questions you may have both in class and via email. Do not let your confusion get in the way of your tenacious mindset and act as a roadblock to your success!

  1. Hi Kalie! I also recommended Time Management to future students. it definitely is something that is needed to succeed in this class. Secondly, I also felt like giving up when I watch lectures as time. It is good grades on cupcakes that motivate me.

  2. Hey Kalie,
I agree with everything you have said about time management and not getting lazy. Even though this class is majority online, it still requires more thought and consideration than other traditional online classes. You can't just look up an answer because the answer is based on your thoughts and opinions which I think is a great way to shape us as students and as entrepreneurs. -Jacelynn Anaya

  3. Hi Kalie,
You’re mid semester review was very insightful and I definitely agree with a lot of what you were saying. Time management is so important in any class but this class especially as it is not a traditional in person class, it is easy to get behind and forget to watch a lecture and end up doing assignments at 11:59. I thought that all of your tips were great and would definitely help me if I was just starting the class.
