I found Jennifer by Google searching the best nonprofit organizations that aid the educational system and found Jumpstart, the organization Jennifer is a part of. I found her contact information at the bottom of the home page with her email and phone number and contacted her with that information.

Jennifer did me a favor and was able to give me advice on the tips and tricks Jumpstart used in order to become so successful. In return I donated to Jumpstart in order to help their organization.

Including Jennifer will advance my networking skills and we have developed a relationship where I feel like she will always be more than happy to answer any questions I have regarding our market.

Christine Patton

Domain expert of your industry

I found Christine's contact information on the home page of the Jumpstart organization website. Her phone number and email was listed under her role for Jumpstart which is the head of the Research and Evaluation wing.

Christine did me a favor in educating me the steps Jumpstart takes in order to evaluate their own success, the logistics of their actions and funding, and the research needed to be done in order to make sure they continue on the right track in regards to their long term goals. In return, I donated to the Jumpstart organization in support of not only the organization itself, but the issue it stands for.

Including Christine in my networking skills has definitely broadened my opportunity for connections with my business concept and will help me follow the steps that made them so successful, hoping that my organization will mirror similar success.

Quenita Fry(Expediacares Ambassador)

Important Supplier to your industry

I Google searched companies that dedicate effort into aiding the education for children not only locally, but globally as well because I realize some larger companies have the platform to do so. Expedia has a program called Expediacares that reaches out globally and locally to better the lives of children through educational programs and supporting the learning experience for public schools.

Christine did me a favor in educating me on Expediacares and the background and actions that go behind making this campaign so unique. I loved learning about how Expediacares was started and hearing about how many people are devoted to participating in this campaign in order to make a difference in children's' lives all around the world.  I did not necessarily do anything in return for this, but I did more research on this program and have spread awareness by telling friends and family about Expediacares.

Including Quenita Fry in my networking has advances my opportunity in knowing that I can run any of my ideas by her and getting her own, genuine opinion based off of her experience and knowledge from working with Expediacares and being so involved.



This experience most definitely has shaped and furthered my passion for such a cause. It was great to learn about everyone's experience in this industry and market. I can relate to these people and the passion for wanting to make a difference in the education system. It encourages me to be more confident in future networking events and not be afraid of sharing my passion and my vision and getting feedback in order to improve in my ideas. This differed from my past networking experiences because it directly related to my own business concept, so I found myself to be much more interested and engaged in this networking process rather than with other companies/individuals.
